Christopher Brown is an Associate Professor in the Political Science Department at Texas State University. Professor Brown presently teaches upper level courses in the Legal Studies program and the MPA program, as well as select undergraduate courses. Professor Brown received his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas Law School; he also holds a Masters of Public Affairs and a B.A. in European and American History from Notherwestern University. Having gained extensive experience in the public sector, Dr. Brown was a Judicial Law Clerk for the US District Court Judge, the Honorable Royal Furgeson, as well as an Assistant Attorney General in the Texas Attorney General’s Office. Dr. Brown also possesses a strong background in Environmental Law and quality standards, having worked at the TCEQ and Tulane Law School’s Environmental Law Clinic.
