Political Science Universal Scholarship Application
(Please print out, fill in, sign and submit to ELA 266.)
You may use this form to apply for multiple scholarships. Please check each scholarship for which you are applying. Keep in mind that the criteria for each scholarship may be different and, in order to be considered, you must provide all the required documents for each scholarship.

Additional Requirements
The following scholarships have additional requirements. Be sure to submit all required material for each scholarship.Jim and Elizabeth Camp Scholarship
-The Camp Scholarship is handled through the Financial Aid Office. Please see their website for an application.
Dan Farlow Political Science Scholarship
-Applicant must be interested in teaching at either the secondary or higher education level.
-Applicant must provide a brief, typed essay (maximum of one page) discussing how he/she plans to use a Political Science degree.
Howard Mell "Prof" Green Scholarship
-Applicant must be a junior or senior in standing.
-Applicant must provide 2 letters of reference (one from a professor outside of Political Science and one from Political Science.)
-Applicant must provide a brief, typed essay (maximum of one page) discussing how he/she plans to use a Political Science degree and how this award will help him/her achieve this goal.
Walter Richter Endowed Scholarship
-Applicant must submit three letters of reference.
Important
In order to complete your application, you must submit the following items to ch22@txstate.edu or in person to the Political Science office in Evans Liberal Arts Building, Room 266 by the due date.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.

-Application Form
-Transcript (May be printed from CATS)
-Resume (Please include any volunteer and/or extracurricular activities.)
-Any scholarship-specific requirements listed above
