Resources on Public Policy, Sustainability, & Performance

The Center provides resources and technical assistance to government officials, organizational managers and the business community on public policy issues, government sustainability, and performance management. The Center can assist your organization in analyzing policies, evaluating programs, analyzing processes, assessing strategies for governance and sustainability, and developing strategies for managing organizational performance.   • The applied research collaboration program is designed to promote research collaborations between faculty, students and administrators with similar research interests. Graduate or undergraduate students seeking to gain knowledge and experience in research can be matched with faculty members to assist with research projects and program implementations that provide technical assistance to administrators of public sector and nonprofit organizations. Students who are interested in being matched with projects that fit their skills and interests can contact us at crppt@txstate.edu. Likewise, we encourage administrators who could use the assistance of a graduate or undergraduate student in research and project management to contact us as well.


WORKSHOPS

The Center provides workshops and opportunities to discuss and analyze research proposals and issues regarding a wide variety of subject areas. Students, faculty, and administrators make presentations about research projects, research proposals, and practical issues. The Center also provides instructional sessions that offer attendees hands-on and engaging learning experiences regarding relevant trends and issues in the public sector.

The Center offers a variety of training and course programs designed and customized to meet the needs of many different organizations. Our faculty has years of practical government experience, which allows us to deliver training and courses on any topic pertaining management, leadership, human resources, public finances, public policy and organizational development.
