
The Department of Political Science was pleased to present, with support from the Poly Sci Inklings and Pi Sigma Alpha, a Discourse in Democracy event on Tuesday evening, April 1, 2008. The panel discussion centered around American Foreign Policy Challenges and was attended by students, faculty and staff.
The moderator, Dr. Vicki Brittain, chair of the Political Science Department, facilitated a lively discussion on America's Foreign Policy Challenges such as terrorism and national security, international cooperation, promoting democracy, rival powers and globalization.
Panelists included Dr. William Ruger, Dr. Hassan Tajalli, Dr. Robert Gorman and Dr. Arnold Leder. All panelists are professors in the Political Science Department. After introductions and a brief statement by each participant, Dr. Brittain posed several questions to the panelists. Following this question and answer period, audience members posed questions to the participants directly.
